1956

Our Start

Our great grandfather started a textile business in Faisalabad (then called Lyallpur) soon after the independence of Pakistan.

1968

Mayari Sizing Industry

Our grandfather and his brothers established the business of sizing by the name ‘Mayari Sizing Industry’.

1975

Weaving Industry

We started a weaving industry with power looms as the need for fabric started growing in Pakistan.

1984

Farooq Textiles

Our father established a fabric processing unit in Razabad, Faisalabad with the name of Farooq Textiles. Due to high demand for bleach fabric, our business grew day by day.

1993

Beginning of Export

We started exporting our own fabric to US and European markets. With few thousand meters initially, we kept on progressing to millions of meters per year as time progressed.

2000

Expansion

Increased demand in production and the need for expansion was inevitable. The need compelled us to have more machines added to our unit. We moved from our Razabad unit to our new location Khurrianwla and installed state-of-the-art machinery at our new location.

2002

Export of Madeups

Owing to the demand of our buyers, we started exporting madeups along with the fabric. At the same time, we started exporting dying fabric and madeups as well.

2014

End-to-End Production

We became a fully vertically integrated unit anticipating the need for our in-house weaving. We installed 44 wider width Sulzer Looms in our company and now enjoy manufacturing our own fabric all the way to the end product.

2023

Solar Power

Thinking of green, we have installed a solar power system to power up our machinery.
